Problem solved, it was missing File Twain_32.8BA in Plug-ins of Photoshop.

@christine_9635 "I bought and installed Adobe Photoshop CS6" Photoshop CS6 has not been available to purchase for the last 10 years now, if you did purchase it recently it will not be genuine

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I don’t think the version of Photoshop matters very much for this problem. CS6 should be fine. But any ability to import into Photoshop from a scanner has always been provided by scanning software, not by Adobe, so the answer is outside of Photoshop.
When did it stop working? For example, was it after upgrading to Windows 11? Canon does have driver software for Windows 11 for that scanner.

Is there any problem using the WIA option?
Can you reach your scanner from Photoshop by choosing File > Import > Images from Device, which uses WIA? More info:
Acquire images from cameras and scanners - Adobe help article
Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) has become a generic standard that works with many scanners. I use a Mac, and it’s the same situation: Many users are finding that the manufacturers of their scanners no longer update their software for newer operating systems, but many of those same Mac users are not aware that, as in Windows, the operating system may be able to access the scanner using a generic driver.
I do understand that the WIA option is simple and may not have all of the options of ScanGear. If you need to use a feature of your scanner that WIA does not provide, you may need to use ScanGear anyway. But again…none of this is under the control of Photoshop or Adobe, so none of it can be changed in Photoshop. Photoshop only receives what is sent to it by non-Adobe scanning software, so your only solution is to find the best non-Adobe scanning software that currently works with that scanner. It could be Canon ScanGear, it could be WIA, or it could be VueScan. But it will not be from Adobe.
One thing I would check for, is if ScanGear has a setting that will send the scanned image to Photoshop. Then at least you could scan from ScanGear and not have to open the file manually. I know this is not the same thing as starting the scan from inside Photoshop. But to be able to start the scan from inside Photoshop, Canon is the one who must provide a plug-in software module for Photoshop. That is not something that Adobe does, it is the responsibility of the scanner manufacturer.
I use VueScan to run several old scanners on the latest operating systems, so I know it is a great solution, and it can send the scanned image to Photoshop. But VueScan does cost money, so if WIA works fine then of course you can simply use that for free.
