When applying the warp transformation (edit>transform>warp) as soon as I move a control node, the preview looks like this:
If I apply the warp, it seems to function normally. I just can't see what I'm doing during the process.
I'm using up-to-date Sonoma 14.6.1 MacOS on M2 Max Studio. I've tried current and previous versions of Photoshop going back a year and it happens consistently. I don't remember this being a problem before and wonder what might be a fix or workaround.
I've found under Preferences>Performance>Graphics Processor Settings (Apple M2 Max), unchecking "Use Graphics Processor" solved the problem.

Update: This only happens when I'm warping large 16-bit images such as 2848x3592 pixels. It doesn't happen on 8-bit images or small files.

Hi @Fine Art P,
Thanks for sharing these details about the warp transformation glitch. To investigate further, could you try temporarily disabling the GPU and see if that helps with this issue?
Additionally, it would be very helpful for testing if you could share a sample file that consistently replicates this glitch. Please include your System Info (found under Help > System Info), copy & save it as a text file, and upload it here.
Looking forward to helping you resolve this!
Best,
Anshul Saini
