I use the image processor in Photoshop to add my watermark to images. I recently got a new watermark and re-created the same action steps that were in my old watermarking actions. However, when I run the image processor on images that i zoomed in and cropped in camera, the watermark comes out Huge, while the non-cropped images, the watermark is placed as it should. Any idea on how to get the watermark to be the regular size on all images?
I have read through different topics here in the community but have not come across one that works. I watched a youtube video on how to properly create and align the watermark but that has not helped.
I am working on a windows pc with the latest version of photoshop. Below is an image of my actions used when it worked properly. Any help is appreciated.

@alcord_24 - Can you post a screenshot with the action steps expanded and the panel wide enough to view all pertinent details?

I have attached 3 images. The first has the expanded steps. On the right side is the watermark action (green dash next to it) that works no matter the size of the image, it is always the same - see second image. The last image is the new watermark and the action (orange dash) where it gets big on the zoomed in images.

I'm not really sure you can do that with an action. As you found out, it all has to do with the size of the image vs the size of the watermark. You really need a script to calculate the size of each and then resize the watermark to fit.

I was thinking % relative based resizing, placing a large watermark with prefs set to resize during place and create a smart object... but it all depends on both the size of the watermark and consistent positioning from the edges in a different unit of measure.

Yeah I'm beginning to think that too because I ran the same action on other photos that I have done where the images are vertical and the watermark stays the same. The vertical images that I zoomed in/cropped a little bit you can tell the watermark grew a little bit. My guess is that I'll manually have to go in and add the watermark on those images that vary in sizes.

@alcord_24 - could be... Edit: I can see after reloading the page that you have added some more images, I'll give them a look.

I made a script years ago to batch watermarks. You can try it. I don't know if it still works or if it works on a Mac. But it gives you options to place and size the watermark based on several features of the image.
