Weird glitch on canvas when working on low pixel canvas

New Here ,
Jan 13, 2022 Jan 13, 2022

trying to create pixle art. for some reason this unexplainable glare is just there even with all layers off. I cant even put color over it. its almost like a whole layer is ontop of the entire thing. this is a new session by the way. how do I get rid of this ugly thing? seems to happen only on low pixle canvases

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
