I am helping someone to install CC on a Win10 64bits, but after downloading and installing PS and AI, I get this weird error message when trying to start either one of them:
To use this application please ensure Javascript is enabled. Please enable Javascript or upgrade to a Javascript capable browser. For more help on activating Javascript click here. (--> link goes to a not found page!!)
I can then either click on "Quit" or "Try again", both of which end the program.
I am pretty sure that the Firefox 70.0 we use is Javascript enabled, so what else can be wrong?
Thanks!

Hi
I have Windows 10 and use Firefox and never came across that error before, javascript is enabled by default in Firefox, is Firefox set as the default browser

Yes, Firefox is the default browser and switching the default to Chrome or whatever makes no difference....
Why would CC need a browser anyway? Can't I just disable the part that looks for a browser?

I now used the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool to try and do a fresh install.
But when I now try and install Photoshop, it just sits and waits for my browser to do something???
See attchment
