When adding a Color Overlay Layer Style to a library, the thumbnail image doesn't work correctly

I use Color Overlay layer styles to change raster layers into different colors. In the past I've been able to save the layer styles to a library to save this color palette and add them to the layers quickly. Now, the thumbnails have stopped representing the colors of the overlays (which they used to do) and they seem to get "stuck" on one color.
See video for a demonstration of what's happening. You can see that each layer style applies a different color, but all the thumbnails are the same color. I'm also including a photo of what the thumbnails have looked like previously, and ought to look like (multicolored).
I tried resetting the Preferences and this appeared to work—the first yellow thumbnail in this video "worked." But then the next one I did appears to be stuck on yellow again.
This really slows down my workflow, having to hunt for the color I want, rather than it just appearing in the Library panel as it should. Please help!

I can not replicate on Windows using Photoshop 25.2.0. It is either Mac version of Photoshop or your machine. Wait for someone with Mac to respond.
