When I click on Render Video it instantly crashes

Hey there,

I encountered an issure in Photoshop. I want to export a  7 frame animation via the render video option. It worked fine 30 minutes ago, but now always crashes once I click on the option in the menu. (The pop-up doesn't show)

I updated my graphics driver, downgraded from the 23.1 version of PS to the 22.5.4 but it still happens.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop.Would you mind telling us teh format of the file? Since when have you been seeing this issue? Is it possible if you can share the video if the issue?

Try to give Photoshop access to run as an Administrator by the following steps:-

1. On the Start menu, locate Photoshop to always run as an administrator.
2. Right-click the application’s shortcut, and then click Properties.
3. In the Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
4. Do one of the following:

  • To apply the setting to the currently logged-on user, select the Run This Program As An Administrator check box, and then click OK.
  • To apply the setting to all users on the computer and regardless of which shortcut is used to start the application, click Change Setting For All Users to display the Properties dialog box for the application’s .exe file, select the Run This Program As An Administrator check box, and then click OK twice.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun
