in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

@PatriciaJoley

Are you choosing File menu > Open to open the photo or using another method?

Can you show screen shots of your entire interface including your Layers panel?

It's a RAW-file (CR3) and I didn't work on it yet. It doesn't matter how I open the file. If I go to File and Open in Photoshop or if I go to the file folder and choose Open with... Photoshop.

My language is not English, so I hope the ss makes any sense. (This is not the picture I was talking about... just opened this 1 for the ss).

I work in photography workspace. I tried other workspaces, but they do the same.

What version of Photoshop and operating system are you using?

Are these scanned images or did the images come from one particular source?

There was an issue on the Mac side several years ago where scans done with Image Capture were cutoff when opened in Photoshop.

I use the new version of photoshop 26.1 with Windows 11. I tried it on the desktop and laptop. It does it on both.

Last week, I got an error on my sd card and needed to scan it. After the scan it didn't find anything wrong with it. I formated the card on the camera and took a picture. It's still doing it. :'(
Just to be sure, I used a brand new sd card and tried it with that one and it's still doing it.

I have found out, this problem is only with the RAW-files. JPG-files don't have this issue. I updated the filmware, but it's still cutting a piece of my picture of :'( . Any ideas are very welcome!
