Whenever I open Photoshop, my cursor changes to a dark gray outline even when I'm not in the app.

I have the latest update of photoshop 2025 using it in my mac, and it's been harder to find my cursor whenever I have photoshop file open, and I realize it's because my cursor which normally have a white outline, has now a dark gray one. Terrible on dark mode applications btw. And would stay gray when used elsewhere unless I closed my photoshop file. So I'm wondering if this is a bug in the new update, if it's happening to anyone else, or how to fix it?

Hi @Michelle_Cao9044! Welcome to the community! 😊

Could you share a bit more about the issue you're experiencing? What version number of Photoshop are you using? If possible, could you share screenshots of your cursor before and while using Photoshop?

Also, try adjusting your Mac cursor settings in System Settings > Accessibility > Display. Look for options like "Pointer size" and "Pointer outline and fill color." Try changing these to "Reset Colors" or other combinations to see if it affects the mouse cursor for you.

Thanks a bunch!

Alek
