where to download photoshop cs4? and getting error with my serial number I current own.

So before I posted this I did check google for my answer but now I'm stuck. So I'm trying to transfer my older photoshop cs4 from my laptop to my pc computer. I managed to find the serial number but I'm getting an error registering it under my products which needs 24 characters. Is there anything I can do to fix that? Also I misplaced my photoshop disk. So is it possible to redownload cs4 on here and just enter in the number before I use it or do I need to rebuy photoshop and get another serial number??

@Peru Bob,

Unless there is some very recent development I don't know about, CS4, CS5 and CS6 activation servers are still working.  However CS1, CS2 and CS3 are gone.

@bwsword,

If you purchased CS4 as an upgrade, you will also need your qualifying product's serial number.

Adobe's Cs4 download has been removed from the web by Adobe.  CS4 is not longer marketed or supported by Adobe.  If you goto  Adobe.com and sign in with yout Adobe user ID and Password use the Manage Account link then the My Products link.  Your CS4 serial should be available there for you.  You can not transfer CS4 from you old PC to your new PC it must be installed  using your CS4 CD.

You are correct, Nancy.  I was thinking of CS3.  Thank you for that. I've removed my reply.
