Why is my Crop tool not visible and where is it hiding?

Crop tool - thought this one would be easy but evidently, nope.
I am struggling to find one of the most basic tools - in the left side menu pane, I believe I've expanded it fully and there's the lasso tool, the move tool, the blur tool and something as strange as the Dodge tool (cute name) but the crop is absolutely no where to be seen.

The closest is a perspective crop tool, but it's not what I need. A simple, standard crop tool.

Have I gone blind? Why would Photoshop make this harder than Find Waldo? There's clearly a lot of space on the left menu, just show everyhitng there.....

And I thought the three dots at the bottom of that menu panel would expand and show me a list of tools but nope, of course it goes against any intuition and sure it doesn't. Just says "No options for the Edit Tooolbar"

Heavens, just show me a list of the tools, I'm done to the point I don't mind crossing each one out until I manually find a crop tool. Just make it easy to open the list of tools at least....Please help me, where is the crop tool in Photoshop??

Hi there Jeff, thanks a lot for the tip.

Unfortunately, no, it's not under the Perspective Crop tool (even after I long-click and push down, it doesn't show anything)

I went to File>Tools and manually selected the Crop tool there and added to the left pane...it's a bit confusing how it's organized. Seems like you and I have different arrangements even...I wished the structure was kept consistent but although it's not smart, I managed to bypass Photoshop's caprice and selected the crop tool for no

Did you click and hold on the Perspective Crop Tool icon in the Tools panel?

By default the Crop Tool is in the same group as the Perspective Crop Tool.

Hi Jeff - unfortunatelly, that didn't do anything in terms of showing the tools I wanted in the left tool menu (do I have to restart my PC on top of the above??)
I restarted Photoshop but still, what seems to be major tools such as magic wand and crop are just not there.

If you go to Edit>Toolbar it shows what tools are grouped together in the same slot.

The tools with little black triangles have multiple tools in the that slot, so if you left click and hold on those tool icons in the tools panel you should see the other tools that share that slot.
