Will Adobe ever do GPU acceleration properly?

Another round of updates and GPU support still doesn't work as it is supposed to.

I remember few updates ago I could Free Transform even very large objects easily, but since around update to CC 2018 Free Transform has become very choppy, I can no longer move or rotate objects on larger images with smooth moves, it's all choppy and laggy, sometimes makes it hard to adjust object where I want it.

I tried different drivers for my AMD 280X thinking, it wouldn't be the first time AMD messed up drivers, no change.

Wiped the drivers clean, borrowed a GF 1050Ti, which is not a weak card either, installed newest drivers. Same thing...

Do I need a 12GB Titan V to rotate images...?

its more common that Photoshop loads without seeing your gpu card... the fix is to shut Photoshop and reopen it

p.s, ime AMD drivers are mostly good but anything is better than Microsoft drivers so the bar isn't very high
