Windows 10 Keyboard shortcuts don't work after Registry Change

I am using Windows 10 with Photoshop CC 2018.

Many months ago I had changed my keyboard registry to have it more closely match the layout of an Apple keyboard, with which I am more familiar.

Unfortunately, Photoshop doesn't not seem to understand this... the only program I am having problems. I can't use the remapped alt-key to select a color, define a clone source, etc.

Since I don't have admin privileges, I can't change the keyboard just to use Photoshop and then back again without going through our IT dept.

Are there any ideas of how I can override Photoshop's objections? I have no problems with Illustrator or InDesign or any other Adobe program.

Thanks.
