Windows 10 Photoshop Performance Issue

Hello Everyone,

I've been struggling with this for a while and I want to make sure I'm not crazy or missing something.  But sometimes Photoshop gets really jittery when working in files.  Some files are fine but others will just not work smoothly.  I'll post some screenshots and a video below detailing what I mean.

My GPU's are 1080Ti's and I have 32 GB of RAM.  I'm running a 7700k that's overclocked to 4.5 Ghz.

Does anyone have these issues?  And if so have you figured out a way to avoid them?  As of this morning I've updated my graphics drivers as well and the problem persists.

Thanks,

T.

Hi

You could try turning on Legacy Compositing and reducing your history states, do you really need a 1000

Also don't let Photoshop use 100% of RAM, you need RAM for the OS and other applications, I have a GTX1050ti GPU and 32GB on RAM using Windows 10 and don't experience any issues

I had since turned on Legacy Compositing when I posted earlier.  I dropped the memory to around 70% and set the History States to 100 and it's still jittery.

This particular file is only 3.2 MB

Can you post your Photoshop system info from the help menu, go to Help > System Info and copy and paste the entire thing into this thread
