Question

Working off local server on ipad photoshop

How do you change the Photoshop iPad app to not save to the cloud and to save on a local server?

I want to use the iPad as a tablet and to go between windows photoshop and iPad photoshop.

I can find and open the PSD from the local server, but it will automatically put it on the cloud instead of working in the PSD location.

It seems the iPad is lacking a lot of preference control compared to windows photoshop.

Hi @tomd29838282 Here is an article on how to export/share your files from Photoshop on the iPad:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/create-open-save-ipad.html
"Tap the share icon to easily export your saved documents in formats other than the default cloud document format. You can use this option to share your document to text, email, or any other application available on your mobile devices..."

Keep in mind this is a mobile version of Photoshop - and while powerful, it is not a 1:1 replacement for using the full desktop version.

So you cannot stop it from saving in the cloud? Or force the use of only local storage?

No - iPad Photoshop requires the CC sync with the account.
