Workspaces keep resetting each time I go into InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

I'm using the latest software on a iMac running iOS 13.1.

Everytime I launch any of the software all the workspaces are blank. I have to then select a generic workspace to make the tools appear. Getting a bit fed up with having to do this everyday.

Can anyone help solve this.

I did go onto Adobe help and they tried something but it didn't help.

cheers

That is different - your original post stated that each time you launch the app, which is normal.

You can try resetting your preferences and see if that resolves. Go to Photoshop Preferences/General and click the reset button. Relaunch PS and open a doc.

If that resolves, try resetting the other apps.

Also check your Apple System Preferences/Security and Privacy/Full Disk Access and make sure all three apps are in there and active.

    Hi @LivenCreative

That is normal behavior - you normally dont see tools until you create or open a document.

Why would you need the tools before you open a document?

OK so I wanted to see what happens when I restart my mac, when I go back into any of the software photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign all my workspace tool setting are not showing, very frustrating!!

check your preference file location, for example, in photoshop.  take a screenshot of the preference file and its properties.  restart your computer and see if the preference file has changed.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
