Your Graphics Processor is Incompatible

New Here ,
Nov 18, 2023 Nov 18, 2023

I keep getting this error, even though I've updated the drivers that I have on the website. The driver software says I'm up to date, and so does the device manager.

I just got a new ASUS laptop and just installed Photoshop for the first time.

What can I do to fix this error that still allows me to use my GPU?

Specs:

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.6 GB usable)
Device ID 9F026229-6E89-4A08-AC61-8FEC34A20C47
Product ID 00342-21104-88412-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Error:

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

Which driver did you update to ? I would recommend the Studio driver direct from the NVidia website.

https://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-uk#

That site shows the latest for your GPU as 546.01 - When installing choose Advanced Options and Clean Install to ensure remnants of the previous driver are overwritten and not retained.

In addition your CPU has an integrated GPU (as do many laptops). In NVidia settings make sure that for Photoshop, the High Performance NVidia GProcessor is selected. More here:
