Here are the default Curves presets.

I suggest adding one more, with 5 points set up.

    

    

It would be useful for better control, let's say, if we want to affect just the darks or the lights.

Just compare, when we lift the lights, the whole curve changes (with the darks & midtones). So we need to add points manually. Certainly, we can make our own presets (as I did), but won't it be helpful for many users? I believe, it should be added to the default list 🙂

 

For even better control we can also have a 9 points preset.
