Current Limitation
In the current Curves tool (both in ACR and as an adjustment layer in Photoshop), we can make intricate adjustments to the composite RGB curve and individual color channels (Red, Green, Blue). However, there is no way to temporarily disable the effect of a single channel's curve to see its isolated impact. The only option is to disable the entire Curves layer, which hides all adjustments at once. This makes fine-tuning complex color grades inefficient, as it's difficult to assess the contribution of each individual channel curve to the final result.
Proposed Solution
Introduce an eye icon (visibility toggle) for each channel within the Curves.
Key Benefit
This would allow for a much more flexible and non-destructive workflow.
Easily compare the before/after state of a specific channel's adjustment.
Isolate and fine-tune color casts introduced by a single curve.
Understand the complex interaction between different channel curves without having to delete and redraw them.
This small addition would significantly improve the precision and usability of one of the most powerful color grading tools.
