What do they say about your OS? Keep it updated, right? Well I did.....and NOW I learn that 2021 PS is not compatible with this new OS and none of the legacy versions will work either. Now what am I supposed to do. Literally ALL of my design work is done in PS.  Read it and weep......

You have a funny way of asking for help. Instead of telling us the problem, you come here to tell the world that Photoshop doesn't work in Catalina - and to support this claim, post a link to a page which says it DOES work. Have to assume, since you're posting a big false headline, and don't for a moment tell us about your problem that you have some other agenda. We like to help people who need help and tell us the problem. If people come here for an argument, they find us really quite argumentative.

Hi Carol,

Can you tell us what your actual issue is? Is it that you can't open PS 2021? That you can't use 3D? Something else? Screenshots will help.

"and NOW I learn that 2021 PS is not compatible with this new OS"

You are incorrect in your statement.  The link you attached refers to v21. The current version of Photoshop is v22.  Photoshop 2021 is v22 and it is compatible with Catalina. See here : https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html   Photoshop v22 requires Mojave 10.14,  Catalina 10.15, or Big Sur 11.

I don't see any bullying here, but don't be surprised at a pushback against such an incorrect statement as that which you made.

Again, the facts: Photoshop is compatible with Catalina. But this is a moving target with old OSs; the current version of Photoshop isn't compatible with decades of old Mac operating systems, but as of today, that doesn't include Catalina.

Even the URL you posted states: Photoshop 21.0 & Photoshop 20.0.7 work with macOS 10.15 (Catalina).

So what exactly is your issue, maybe we can help and keep in mind, this is a user to user support forum. To provide feedback and suggestions about what you desire from Adobe, you should go to this URL and comment after selecting the appropriate product line:

Ya know, I came here for help.  I didn't need to be bullied by you people.  I do the best I can with what I have and all I know is that one day Photoshop worked and the next day it doesn't.   But all of you with your high and mighty and condescnding comments have nothing to offer.  You can respond to this if you want, but it will be ignored by me and I will no longer solicit advice from this "community".

What help do you need other than the facts sir?

You are not being bullied, you're getting factual answers from other users as again, this is simply a forum for users to assist other users.

You have one more opportunity to describe a problem you have and getting a factual answer to that problem as best as the community can provide. Then it is time to move on; some here have actual issues from other users to address.

As @Test Screen Name  already indicated your descriptions seems confusing as Catalina is not a »new OS«.

Please read this (in particular the section titled "Supply pertinent information for more timely and effective answers”) and provide a clear description of the actual situation:

I really don't know what you're talking about. Catalina isn't a new system; it came out almost 2 years ago, and has already been replaced by Big Sur. Of course Photoshop is compatible with Catalina, Adobe worked hard to make sure the current version works.

Of course you can't expect to be able to run ancient apps on current systems. Surely you aren't expecting that - but maybe you had that wrong worldview-- But that's not what your subject says. If you want to keep using Photoshop in Catalina, you need to be a subscriber to Creative Cloud, but that's hardly news...
