Most Menu Options Greyed Out

Hi there!

I'm a veteran photoshop user and I'm not sure how to really solve this one. Like most photographers I import pictures into lightroom and sometimes import them into photoshop for more advanced editing. This is a problem I've been experiencing for some time and I couldn't find an easy solution in the FAQ's or other posts (If it exists and I didn't see it i am sorry in advance)

Basically what happens is after I import an image from lightroom (right click, edit in photoshop) almost all of the menu options up top are completely greyed out and don't let me do anything like editing exposure, curves, etc. They also don't automatically save back to lightroom after I've made changes.

Any ideas for a fix?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

It is a bug but with an easy workaround.

Open Photoshop first and keep it open whilst you open Lightroom. Now try edit in Photoshop and all should be well.
