2022 Photoshop and Elements PDF User Guide

I need to be able to download the full User Guide (pdf) for off line usage. Adobe say they don't offer this facility for version 2022, Why Not? Not everyone has access to the internet 24/7.  When on a photo shoot in many unpopultaed places on earth there is NO Internet. I take my laptop with me for editing, OFF LINE help is essential to learn / remember obscure editing proceedures.

Here is a link to the most recent PDF user guide.   Not much changes from year to year so it should be able to answer 95% of your questions.  For references to the latest features, you will have to be online.

Why Not?

Regrettably it has become standard practice with most software. Writing PDF User Guides is slow and expensive and, frankly, most users do not read them so the time and expense is hard to justify.

Adobe, along with most other software vendors, leaves the production of manuals to 3rd parties for the few people that want them.

Online courses or self-paced video training are popular resources these days. They're cost effective to produce, easy to update and have global reach. That's how I do most of my learning.

Hi John, thanks anyway, personally I much prefer a paper manual, easy to look up from index straight to the relavent page very quick and easey to read, often good bedtime reading. It also helps when you dont have to keep swapping screens from instructions to work screen with a book its just on your desk to refer to. In fact Ive just done a staw pole of 11 people and 8 of them say they prefer a propper manual. The main issue is that I go on photo shoots that take me to places that has no internet or mobile signal ony satalite communication, very expensive,  I edit on the go via my laptop and when you need a funtion that you raraly or never normally use its handy to be able to look it up quickly. I know many photographers who do exactly the same as me, so there is a need for a downloadable user manual version. If its down to money then I would be happy to pay, just need everything to work efficiently and for me this Adobe approach is most definately not efficient.

Thanks

John.

Acknowledged. Have you had a look at the 3rd party books available?
