arrogance of a monopoly
we got started on photoshop long time ago when adobe was still polite and accommodating trying to enlarge their clientel . that is over. we are getting lied to and cheated. I bought elements 15 after owning all previous versions. that means I have spent easily a thousand dollars on it. after my computer crashed and I bought a new one I downloaded 15 again, installed it after providing the serial number only to find that I cannot open it. I am told I have to enter my adobe idea and password, but when I try a window tells me that I am not connected to the internet. which is a lie, because any other web page opens with no problem. I have tried the same procedure over twenty times since and still have not been able to activate my software. chats with customer support too were strange. one person by name of ravi goyal said he was going to help me by remote and to close all my personal files. which I did. never heard from him again. after several days not even being able to get to any personal chat, I finally was given a case number: ADB2626484-Y6X4 and a gentleman by name of pavani sahu introduced himself. while I was typing my concern he abruptly cut me off and said thank you for contacting support. since then I have not been able to connect to any support at all.
I am still waiting to be able to activate the software I paid for, after a week of trying.
