Adobe Elements 15 Unable to start correctly (0xc00007b) Application Error

I recently purchased Elements 15 and it loads, but I get this error report when I click on the icon to open it.  I have uninstalled it and reinstalled the software numerous times using the disc and have even downloaded the installation from Adobe's website, but still get this error.  I have spent a great deal of time searching the web and reading forums, but am still at a loss as to what to do.

Still at a loss as I don't understand most of those comments!

    Hi Mountain Camper,

    1. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 from the Microsoft site.
    2. Restart the computer.
    3. Launch PSE.

Please report if it works fine now.

    Thanks,

    Arshla

Downloaded all three choices from the link you provided.  Installed first choice (didn't fix the problem); installed the second choice (didn't fix the problem); the third choice had a pop up indicating it couldn't be installed on my PC.

    I am using Windows 10.

Any other suggestions?  I am extremely unhappy as I cannot return the software so am out $100.
