ik heb mijn adobe verschillende keren opnieuw moeten installeren hij werkte niet meer !
gekocht bij Bol.com heb hem al aardig lang eigenlijk een jaar of 2 en nu plots werkt het niet meer
eraf gehaald en opnieuw geinstalleerd nu maar zonder werking van mijn program.
nu vandaag nog maar eens geprobeerd kreeg nu na bijna installeren dit volgende in beeld wat is het en kan ik er aan doen mijn serial number is oke.

PSE 10 - Failure to Boot

Arshla, Thanks for the link to: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-df024-installing-creative-cloud.html; however, before I try this option, kindly tell me if this Fix will also applies to the following:
1. Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 started failing to boot up a month or so ago. I am guessing that this MAY have been due to either:
(1) Windows-KB890830-x64-V5.51?
(2) Windows Defender definition updates?
(3) Registry cleanup?
2. In order to correct, I made numerous attempts to uninstall & reinstall PSE 10; I received the following error massages:
i. Attempted to uninstall & reinstall & received error message: “Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.”
ii. Uninstalling Adobe Photoshop Elements 10: (Stopped while copying new files)
iii. Adobe Photoshop Elements 10: Error 1316. The specific account already exist.
iv. Uninstalling Adobe Photoshop Elements 10: (Stopped while copying new files)
v. Adobe Photoshop Elements 10: Error 1316. The specific account already exist.
vi. Element Organizer: Photoshop Elements cannot start or continue because of missing filer (s). Please reinstall.
vii. At some point, I reset to Windows 7 & the PSE 10 worked fine for a while; however, it either was a temp FIX or else I screwed up something.
viii. Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.
3. AT THIS POINT, PSE 10 WILL STILL NOT BOOT UP & I NEED HELP!

1. DF024: Thanks for the link to: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-df024-installing-creative-cloud.html; however, this Fix is way above my paygrade.
2. Request to Adobe:
a. Advise if my serial number activation can be DEACTIVATED by your Adobe IT folks!
b. Advise how I can uninstall & reinstall using my “Install DISK” from either my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 for Windows-Full Version (PN: 65136385. Bar Code: 8 83919 22545 6) or my Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows-Full Version !
c. Advise IF I can install Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 for Windows-Full Version or my Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows-Full Version onto a NEW SSD which I have purchased!
3. What I have tried following the “error-df024" corrective actions are:
a. Solution 1: Adjust file permissions. Creative Suite (CS6, CS5.5, CS5), Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements: Verify file permissions in Creative Suite.
b. Solution 7: Verify file permissions. Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CS
c. Analyze the main product install log.
d. Analyze the log summary - Windows 64 bit: \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
i. 1 Navigate to the log files in one of the following folders:
ii. Windows 32 bit: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
iii. Windows 64 bit: \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
iv. Note: The log filename includes the product name and install date, followed with ".log.gz." The extension .gz indicates a compressed format.:
v. Found: PSE 10 STI Installer 10.0 10-06-2013.log.gz
(1) Extracting to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\"
vi. Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no - Error: Access is denied. Cannot create C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\PSE 10 STI Installer 10.0 10-06-2013.log; administrative privileges may be required - Severe Error: File creation failed.
e. Analyze the log summary - Windows 64 bit: \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
f. Analyze MSI errors (Windows only)
g. Analyze advanced failures
i. Photoshop Camera Raw For Elements 10-6.4\6.7.040\Setup - Extracting to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\" Error: Access is denied. Cannot create C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 11-08-2013.log; administrative privileges may be required Severe Error: File creation failed.
h. Analyze MSI errors (Windows only) - The error appears before the search term in the following format: Error 1234.
i. Deactivate serial numbers:
i. Tried deactivating the 2 activations serial numbers.
ii. Tried launching the PSE Editor to deactivate the serial numbers.
iii. My exhaustive searches for the PSE Editor failed every effort.
4. Error messages encountered using df024:
i. Extracting to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\" - Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no - Error: Access is denied. - Cannot create C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\PSE 10 STI Installer 10.0 10-06-2013.log; administrative privileges may be required - Severe Error: File creation failed.
ii. Extracting to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\" - Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no - Error: Access is denied. - Cannot create C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 11-08-2013.log; administrative privileges may be required - Severe Error: File creation failed.
5. My total PC search showed up NO results on either “PSE Editor” or “Return value 3" or “Action Return Values.”
6. Adobe PhotoShop Install Disk bought & still on hand:
a. 05/02/2012: Inv #86876853 Newegg Order #126512176 - Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 for Windows & Mac - Full Version.
b. 12/14/2009: Inv #54993980 Newegg Order #42773136 - Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows - Full Version.
7. I simply cannot solve this issue & badly need Adobe IT help!
