Avoiding the splash screen

Hello!

 

How do I start Photoshop Elements 2023 direclty into Photo Editor?

 

I do want to avoid the splash screen.

 

I use the version bought on the Microsoft Store.

Find the exe file in Program Files and create a desktop shortcut for it.

I use the Windows Store version which does not include exe files. The app is stored somewhere else.

Try looking in the following hidden directory:  C:/Program Files/WindowsApps

I found the folder.
I can run "Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023.exe".

However, it does not even let me run "PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe" in admin mode

How about creating a desktop shortcut to the Editor exe file or pinning the Elements Editor program to the Task Bar?

Microsoft version applications have limited permissions. I suggest you contact Microsoft Support to help you get the proper file permissions set.
