How do I deleted/empty the cache file in Elements 14.0?

    Deleting cache files may be a common trick to gain space on Android devices, but that's not so simple in your case.

    You may get useful information to gain space if you give some information about your OS (Win, mac, version) and your hardware. A common issue those days if with users with relatively small SSD drives.

    Which cache file?

    The only cache file that you may want to delete is the thumbnail cache in your catalog (there are several other cache files).

    It is called thumb.5.cache

    You find the location of your catalog folder from the Help menu in the organizer, section System Info.

    The location is a hidden folder. You may have to set your explorer to show hidden files and folders.
