PSE 2018: When I'm in full screen, it seems that I can only advance using one of the pre-set slide show timings. Is there a way that I can manually advanace to the next image?

Select your first thumbnail in Organizer and press F11

You can use the play button at the bottom of the screen or advance manually forward/back using the right/left arrow keys.
