Each version of Elements is separate and works independently.  If Elements 2020 is working for you, you can remove prior versions to save space if you need to.  However, some folk keep older versions on their computer because of features that have changed.  For example, the slideshow in Elements 2019 and 2020 is completely different than earlier versions.

FYI!

I upgraded from PSE 14 to PSE 2019 last year. After a few weeks, I decided that I no longer needed PSE 14 so I deleted it using my Revo Uninstaller. There are obviously some common components between PSE 14 and PSE 2019 because after deleting PSE 14, PSE 2019 immediately stopped running and displayed error messages about a missing "Application Manager" program. The Help link on the error window was absolutely no help at all. It took almost a week of Googling for me to find an old forum link to the Application Manager download which fixed the problem.

FYI!

Walter, your warning is well taken, but I believe what happened to you would not happen with using the Adobe uninstaller.  It's because of situations like yours that I have stopped using Revo and other uninstall utilities or registry cleaners (unless I am desperate or extremely careful) - they are frequently over-inclusive in what they delete.

Greg, how do you use the Adobe Uninstaller? Is this another hidden utility?

No, I'm just talking about uninstalling a program through the Control Panel or Windows 10 Settings>Apps and Features.

The Adobe CC cleaner can also be used if a regular uninstall creates problems.

I actually found the Adobe Uninstaller on my iMac, got a warning that High Sierra didnt work with it.  But was taken to Adobe website where an Uninstaller was activated to do the uninstall.  Not sure how all this worked, but it did the job! Thanks for your suggestions!  I am enjoying all the updates that 2020 has to offer.  My past versions were 2011, then 2015, and now 2020.  I'm taking as many online tutorials that I can with my complimentary 30 day trial.
