Can't move windows between monitors

I'm almost embarrassed to post this, but I've had zero luck getting through to a live person at Adobe.

Using PS Elements. I've got two images open in the window. Want to drag the application to my external monitor because it's larger and brighter and should let me focus on some of the finer details, don't you think? Well, forget that noise, because MacOS won't allow me to drag the window from my internal display to my external monitor. WTF?

Also, I don't know how my profile got changed or why I can't post this under my original profile.

I know almost nothing about Macs, so I can't help you with your monitor problem.

You haven't told us what problems you are having with getting a live person at Adobe support. Try contacting Elements support. You can start a chat session by clicking on the blue Contact Us button under the Help & Support menu at Adobe.com. Or you can contact Support by telephone using the numbers listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html.  The link to the phone numbers will tell you what hours live Support is available outside of the US.

Thanks for your message. The blue Contact Us button did not lead to
anything giving me the option to chat with a live person or even a bot.
Nothing happens when I click it. I can't even find a way to open a chat
window. Same thing goes for the Contact Us option at the bottom of the help
page. That just sends me round in circles leading back to all the pages
that aren't helpful.

Also, for some reason I've been given a new and unnecessary profile for the
community forum. My main account is OK as is, but there's also a profile
for Sol23197267fsnp. I don't know what that is or how it was generated, but
I don't need it. I would just as soon have my community discussions linked
to my main profile.

In Apple>System Settings or System Preferences, what are your settings under Display?

Using my 2012 MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.6.1 and photoshop elements 2022 i can drag pse over to the bigger external display by clicking in dragging in the area directly below the menu bar.
