CANON CR3 [Unable to open Canon 90D Raw files in Elements 2018]

Hallo, seit 27.04.2018 benutze ich Photoshop Elements 2018. Seit einigen Wochen besitze ich die Kamera Canon 90D. Die CR3 - -Dateien  werden von PSE 2018 nicht geöffnet. Ich würde sofort eine neuere Version von Photoshop Elements erwerben, finde aber keine Informationen zu der Verarbeitung von CR3-Dateien.

Welche Version ist empfehlenswert ??

Photoshop Elements 2019 and newer will support the Canon 90D.

The Canon 90D was first supported by Camera Raw 11.4 and later. Unfortunately PSE2018 is not compatible with Camera Raw 11.4. Only Elements 2019 and later are compatible with Camera Raw 11.4.

You have a couple of options:

1. Pay to upgrade to the current version of Elements. You can then open 90D Raw files in Elements.
   OR
2. Convert the 90D Raw files to DNG format using the free Adobe DNG converter. You can then open the DNG files (not the Raw files) in Elements 2018.

There is another possibility that should allow you to install ACR 11.4.1 into Elements 2018.  See this article which provides a workaround. 

You have to follow the instructions precisely, BUT at Step 1, which tells you to download the latest Camera Raw plug-installer, instead locate the ACR 11.4.1 installer on the download page.

Be interesting to know if that workaround works in this case. No reason that it shouldn't.
