cant color a picture using the default black color
Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 20.0 (20220217.Git.dot.e5d7dda) x64. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit. Trying to color a picture. Brush mode is color, image MODE RGB color. I can paint with any color, red, Green, blue or anything in between. When I Selected the default color black (foreground), it actually removes the color. Selecting the default White (background) does the exact same thing. Image set to normal blend mode. The update just came up this evening so I did it. I have completely removed the elements installation and reinstalled with the exact same results. All other functions seem to be operating normally. When the brush mode is set to normal, black and white work but of course you can’t see through it. Tried multiple images. I created a solid black layer and filled it with black, added a layer mask. Black revels and white conceals. Modes set to normal. Have reloaded preferences and reinstalled elements.
