Is this tool no longer available or do I need to upgrade to a different version?

Still there if you're referring to Clipping Masks

Thanks John. I used to use Photoshop v7 which had a pointer took that allowed me to 'click' my way around an irregular portion of an image in order to crop it from the background. I also see this referred to as "Tool A" in PSCC. However, I don't see this same tool in PSE14.

I guess my question is - does it still exist and I need to upgrade, or has it been replaced with a different tool?

I am not a proficient user and rely on  a limited number of tools to accomplish my tasks.

    Thnx,

    Clive

I assume you mean Photoshop 7 (not Photoshop Elements 7). There is no Tool A in Photoshop CC.

No, there is no clipping path (no pen) in Photoshop Elements.

Again, thanks. What version/package should I get in order to get that tool? (Last question - I promise)
