Cloning over PowerPoint insert

I had previously inserted a small powerpoint picture into an adobe file. I need to clone over it now unless there is a way to remove the powerpoint at which I can find now way to do so. When I attempt to clone, it will show the clone but when I go to do so, it will not cover the PP insert. It will clone anywhere else except over the PP insert.
