Hi,
I have been using Photoshop Elements for many years on various Windows based computers.
I currently have Elements 15 running OK on an old Windows laptop with the catalog and all photos stored on a NAS drive.
I am trying to access this catalog from a new MAC computer (also running Elements 15) but cannot access the catalog.
Using the manage Catalog option from Elements Organiser I can navigate to the folder that should hold the catalog but can't connect to it.
Does the catalog need to be converted in some way to be accessed by a MAC?
Can anyone help?
Many thanks
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Windows can access catalog stored on network drive but MAC does not, this is by default. One will have to keep the catalog on local while media can be kept on network drive.
I assume since it is only a catalog which creates reference with media files must not be of larger size, so in this case you can keep the catalog locally also.
