Corrupted image when cropped in Elements 10

Can anyone out there offer some help, please? Elements 10 will only save a cropped image in a corrupted form, although every other operations seems to work as it should. All suggestions welcome.Some screen shots to illustrate what I'm seeing on my laptop (Windows 10)

Remove the 1px from the Width and the crop tool should work after that.
