Question

Ctrl+Alt+M no longer working in Photoshop Elements 2018 HELP PLEASE!

I am running windows 10 and have used PE 2018 since it came out and all of a sudden Ctrl+Alt+M just stopped working.  Can anyone suggest a solution.  I took PE completely off my computer, went into REGEDIT and deleted anything related to PE and reloaded it and it still does not work.  This is a bit of a pain since it was a quick and easy step when editing large numbers of photos.

Any ADOBE Tech people able to give me hand?

Would greatly appreciate solving this problem.

    That's Enhance>Auto Smart Fix?

If you go to Window>History, do you see an Auto Smart Fix step?

You can reset the photoshop elements preferences by going to Edit>Preferences>General, clicking on Reset Preferences on next launch and restarting the pse 2018 editor.

I have the same problem with Elements 14.  Auto Smart Fix works, just the key combination of Alt-Ctrl-M no longer works.  I have to click "Enhance", then select "Auto Smart Fix" to invoke it, causing a massive productivity loss since it is very frequently used.

It worked at the beginning, then it stopped after using Elements 14 a couple of months or so.  I switched the computer a while back and moved Elements 14 to the new computer.  Lo and behold, Alt-Ctrl-M worked again and I was very happy.  Unfortunately, after using Elements for a while, it stopped working AGAIN.

I suspect it may have something to do with something being accummulated overtime causing the hot-key table to be overwritten.

Will appreciate any solutions to this.

Try resetting the pse 14 preferences.
