Cursor just looks like cursor and not the tool I'm using

I've tried changing the cursor settings both in photoshop and on my computer, but no matter what I do the cursor still just looks like an arrow when I'm using tools. It's not a huge problem... except when I'm trying to erase or do detailed work around distinct edges and I can't see exactly what area I'm covering with the tool.

Try resetting Preferences once.

To do so, go to Edit > Preferences

Click on Reset Preferences on next launch. Re-launch Editor.

Let us know if issue persists.

Thanks,
Anwesha
