Custom Paper size not printing accurately

I am on PE 2024 trying to print a test page on 12x16" paper. Since 12x16 is not listed on the dropdown menu, I have to create it in my printer software dialog box. Heres what I do:

File>print (PE dialog box)

Click on Page Setup (takes me to printer dialog box)

Click on Paper size (16x12")

Save

Now I'm back in the PE print dialog box

Under "select paper size", OTHER is selected in the dropdown box

Under Select Print Size, I click on Actual Size (16" x 12")

then i click on the print (blue button) and the 12x16" paper is loaded into my Canon printer

What comes out is a crazy sized print that is NOT 12x16., it gets cut off the page. 

Can someone help me figure out how to do this PLEASE??

Your screenshots do not show the printer dialogs.  Since each printer has its own drivers, it is therefore a little difficult to advise you.  However, you should click on the Page Setup button shown in my screenshot and your printer driver should have some further settings to change the page size  for your printer.

Hi Greg, thx for answering. Here is the print dialog box for the Canon printer, on the right hand side where you can see that I've created a page size that is 16x12"

Ihave tried everything under the sun . i cant print on 12x16 paper unless i tape it to a standard size offered in PE print dialog options. creating a 12x16 size in my canon printer dialog and selecting it in PE page size option doesnt work. does anyone have any suggestions? maybe i am missing a step?

I note from your print dialog that it is set to print a pdf.  That doesn't seem right.
