I want to put different sized photos on one page to maximize use of photo paper.  I only want one of each photo but in different sizes. I have read and played around but can not figure this out.  I have Elements 15.  Thanks you!

You have to do this manually, in Expert mode.

Go to Image>resize>image size and read what the resolution is in px.in. Write the value down, then get out of this dialog. Hopefully, the resolution is the same for all pictures

Do the math, so that the the pictures will fit on the paper. You can crop them to specification prior to going through the drill. On the crop tool's option bar, enter the resolution which you wrote down.

  1. Go to File>new>blank file. Enter the height & width of your paper stock, and the resolution from above
  2. Open picture #1, go to select >all, then Edit>copy  to put it on the clipboard
  3. Go back to the blank file, then Edit>Paste. Picture #1 will come in on a separate layer. Use the move tool to position picture #1.
  4. Repeat these steps for Picture #2, #3, etc. They will be on separate layers.
  5. Note: You can make minor size adjustments with the corner handles of the bounding box when the Move tool is engaged.
