Diffuse Glow Filter

I need to reset the Diffuse Glow to Default to reverse the effect to the true Diffuse Glow, how do I reset it to Default/

So you have applied the filter and now you want to reverse it, right?  If so you can go to the History of your actions and delete from it.  To launch your History log, Click on the icon called More on the bottom right corner.  See this picture:

Now when you open the history log, you can click on each entry one by one to see what effect it had on your work.  You will see the changes as you go through each action.  When you have found the one that you want to delete, just-right on it and choose delete.

This should do the trick.

The History is just after the Histogram in my picture.  Histogram is high-lighted but the history is after that.

I clicked on More and subsequently on History and it came up blank with nothing I’m using Elements 14

So it looks like the file was saved and closed afterwards.  If this is so then the history won't be there because it starts from afresh after each instance of PSE.

However, if you see in the layers panel do you see anything applied to a particular layer that you think might be the filter?  Normally the layers panel shows you all the actions you have taken and applied a layer.  Perhaps expand the layer and post a screenshot here so that somebody might recognise the filter action which can then be deleted.
