Hi All,
When printing from elements when I use the drop down box to select a printer I have a duplicate R2880, I have removed it from Windows 10 but it still appears in the drop down, can it be removed ?

It looks to me like Elements takes its printer list from Windows resources. Oddly, Elements has it in reverse order.
I don't know of any way to remove a duplicate from the list, but you might try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button. That often fixes printer problems.

I have just remembered that you have already reset the preferences file. Did you do that before or after posting this question? You might want to try it again after rebooting your computer.

So the R2880 (Copy 1) does not show up in the printer list for other programs e.g. Word and does not show up in Windows>Settings>Devices>Printers and Scanners?
I'm guessing there is a broken registry entry somewhere. So a registry cleaner might fix it. Or you could uninstall and reinstall the printer driver entirely, but that's not something I would recommend unless the default printer is the wrong one. And even then, I don't think I would bother messing around with it.
I don't know how else to fix the issue.

Hi Greg, thanks for the reply, the R2880 copy1 is the default, the R2880 is the one I want to delete, it only shows in the Elements drop down box, sometimes I choose the wrong one 🤔
