Hi,
I have recently brought a canon G9x and have elements 10 but are unable to open the raw files.
I downloaded the DNG converter but when I opened a file that contained CR2 files it didn't recognise them and said that there were no compatible files found?
Cheers Rob
Do you have the G9X Mark II or the earlier G9X model?
Did you try installing the 9.10 dng converter to see if it works?
Is your mac able to upgrade to macOS Sierra 10.12?

If you have the older Canon G9X, then you can use the 9.6.1 dng converter and that should work on your 10.9.5 OS X

The G9X Mark II requires DNG converter 9.9 (the latest is 9.10)
Is your DNG converter version at least 9.9 ?

I have tried that but it requires OS X 10.10 and mine is 10.9.5.
I have tried to update but 10.10 does not appear to be available?

With the dng converter one just points to the Source folder, not to the actual files inside.
