Why will elements 12 not identify my Nikon D3300. The software is fully up todate. This problem has only occurred the last time Itried to upload images. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you check the version of your ACR module?

Menu Help >> About plugins

You are up to date if you have used the menu Help >> Update. The ACR module in PSE12 should be 8.5.

Your camera requires version 8.4.
