Elements 14 re-installation

My old computer died and I got myself a new Lenovo Ideapad 310, which apparently is a 64-bit system, with Windows 10 Home Edition pre-installed. 

I managed to re-install PSE9 and got it working, but I failed to get the PSE14 (which I purchased on 25/12/2015) to install.  The error message was something like "this 32-bit application cannot be installed on the 64-bit machine".

So what do I do now?   Why is it that the PSE9 can be installed and not the PSE14?

Am not sure if I should or can download the 64-bit version of PSE14, and install it with my present serial number.  I think Adobe will not permit this.  I hope I do not have to pay one more time for PSE14

Would any kind folk please advise.

You can download the 64 bit version of pse 14 from here and yes adobe permits 32 or 64 bit on the same serial.
