Elements 15 does not recognize the printer

When I attempt to print a photo, I receive an error message that begins:"There was an error opening your printer."

1) I have checked the printer by opening a Word doc to print with no probem.

2) I have also opened Elements 13 from a disk. No problem.

3) I have reinstalled Elements 15 from a disk. Same old problem.

Help!

Got it Bob! I had exited the reg editor, not just closed the window. All is well now.
