Elements 15 Organizer Freezes When Importing (OS X)

New Here ,
May 05, 2017 May 05, 2017

I am running the latest version of Elements 15 Organizer on a clean install of OS X Sierra, on a late 2009 Macbook. I'm trying to do the 15-day trial of the software, but every time I try to import anything the application stops responding a few files into the import process. I'm simply importing photos from an external USB drive. I'm not sure what the problem is; some of the photos are NEF files and a few are CR2 files, but with both the OS and Elements being the latest versions, I can't imagine that's the problem. I'm almost through my trial period and I can't even get started! I can post the error log if that would be helpful (it's loooooong).

Hi,

Thanks for posting to Adobe forums.
There can be some issue with the USB port permissions . Please try connecting the USB drive to some other USB port in the computer & see if that works.
You can also try copying the photos from USB drive to the computer drive & then import into Elements Organizer.

Regards
Neeraj
