Error when trying to use Faux Bold

Hello! While trying to bold the font Hit The Road, it gives me the error "Could not complete your request because of a program error." Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I believe there is a conflict with that font Hit The Road and newer versions of photoshop and photoshop elements.

    For example it works fine here with photoshop cs4 cs6 and photoshop elements 11, but get the same error in photoshop elements15 and photoshop cc 2017 on mac osSierra.

    What version of photoshop elements and operating system are you using?

    I am using Photoshop Elements 14.1 and I use Windows 7
