Face circles generated by Elements Organizer 2019 don't remain around faces after photo editing

Using Photoshop Elements Organizer 2019 and have a problem with "Face Circles". After editing a photo (most generally cropping) the Elements Organizer view of the photo (from the People tab), shows Face Circles in what appears to be there original positions in the unedited image -- shifted away from the faces they were previously assigned to. Is this a common problem...or did I corrupt something during editing??
