? is there a way to resequence the photos in a file display?

    Yes in Organizer you can change the sort order between oldest and newest. If you create an album you have an additional option “Album Order” which lets you drag files into your own custom order.

    I was able to change the order of the photos but when I moved to a different folder and then moved back it failed to maintain the newly created order. How do I get it to be a permanent change?

    Did you choose Album Order from the pull down menu?

    When you then drag images into your preferred position they should remain fixed in numbered sequence.


    Yes, they do remain in album sequence when I view them from the album. I wanted to use the tag to show a selection of photos from that album and have then also remain in that sequence. My method was to import the entire folder from the file explorer for a set of trip pictures and then to tag those I want to show as a selection of those photos in the album sequence and captioned as an easy way to access a selection from the album of pictures that were taken.
